Friday Kabbalat Shabbat at 7:30 pm

Stimulating, exciting, uplifting . . . these are some of the words that describe our 7:30 pm Erev Shabbat services, here at Temple Beth Sholom.  We bring four different kinds of services to you each month.  It’s like “shul-hopping” without leaving the building!

1. Ruach Ensemble Shabbat – On the first Friday of each month, join the cadre of trained musicians who elevate our prayers and amplify our joy.  Be with us as we bring the house down with our own Ruach Ensemble – violin, guitar, bass, oboe, English horn, keyboard and percussion.

2. Shabbos in Shamayim – On the second Friday of each month, we discover the “kabbalah” of Kabbalat Shabbat with Shabbos in Shamayim.  This service features guitar and melodies that are intimate, inviting and sure to warm you soul.

3. Shabbat in Harmony – The third and fourth Friday of each month summons melodies of the past decades at Temple Beth Sholom.  Using the music of Craig Taubman and echoing many others, with “ keyboard and kavanah.”  This is an old staple of our Temple.

Services are followed by an Oneg to which everyone is invited.
